We want to examine these 3 licensing types separately and enable you to experience the difference better. Namely;
What is Retail License?
Retail means retail and as the equivalent suggests, it means a single product. However, this license product can be used on as many computers and other platforms as you wish, provided that it is not at the same time. Included with Retail Key, this license is available as a boxed license.
As long as it is not at the same time, you can delete it from one source and continue using it on another source unlimitedly. So the platform is unlimited, but the usage limit is limited. In order to use it on one, this license must be idle for the time being and not held by other platforms.
You can change the hardware. There is no restriction for this.
You can take advantage of technical support and in-product support facilities.
What is an OEM License?
This type of license, which means Original Equipment Manufacturer, is a type of licensing used in non-retail and multiple purchases. Computers that you usually use in your homes or offices come with this licensing. Because the manufacturer takes these licenses collectively and integrates them into the devices. If Windows products are installed when you received your device, then it can be said that you are using an OEM licensed product.
Unlike a retail license, it can only be installed on one computer and cannot be moved to another platform.
It does not support hardware replacement, except for motherboard replacement.
You cannot get support directly, you will need to contact your manufacturer or dealer.
You cannot get it by upgrading between versions of Windows. You must install directly.
Volume MAK License
It can be used on multiple computers at the same time. It is preferred in places where dozens of computers are available and used at the same time, such as offices and public institutions and organizations. However, the number of devices to be used must be specified to the supplier. Because although the number of these computers will be used on more than one computer, the number of these computers must be specified.
